Another fine collection of songs from the guys. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we looked forward to and enjoyed every minute working on the music. We always recorded on a Wednesday, just habit I suppose, some of the songs were completed in a day with the same care, attention to detail and dedication as the songs that can take a week of Wednesdays to get right. 'Songs of our lives' is a superb album and 'Famous faces' is the perfect follow up. The blend of voices are ideally matched and the identity grows stronger with each new album.

I have worked with many talented musicians throughout my career, some are known to many and some are known to few. This CD contains a collection of songs from musicians I have worked with in my studio. Their music and names may be unfamiliar but they are a fine example of songwriters who deserve to be heard. I am more then happy to add my songs and name to such a fine collection of music.

At last the Craighall demo’s are released. So many memories came back about the happy times spent recording with Billy. This is where it all began, no thoughts of looking for a record deal just enjoying being creative, and having the facilities of Craighall Studios was more than I could have wished for. I’m very happy the tapes survived and the demo’s can now be heard and help give a better picture of how Pilot evolved.

I have produced, written and played on Edinburgh musicians Kenny Herbert and Rab Howats’ new collection of songs written and recorded using all their own influences. Recorded over a year in Denia, Spain, Abbey Road, London and in my hometown of Edinburgh. These are good songs played and sung with real heart.
